Moong Dal & Microgreen Chilla

A protein-packed savory pancake, made even healthier with a burst of fresh microgreens.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow moong dal, soaked

  • 1/2 inch ginger

  • 1 green chili

  • 1/2 cup mixed microgreens (radish, pea shoots)

  • Salt to taste

  • Ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Grind soaked dal, ginger, and chili into a smooth batter.

  2. Mix in finely chopped microgreens and salt.

  3. Heat a tawa, pour a ladle of batter, and spread into a circle.

  4. Cook with ghee until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with chutney.
