Sambar Garnish

A simple way to add immense freshness and nutrition to the beloved South Indian lentil stew.

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl of hot sambar

  • A handful of cilantro or radish microgreens

Instructions

  1. Prepare your sambar.

  2. Pour into a serving bowl.

  3. Instead of or in addition to regular cilantro, garnish generously with fresh microgreens just before serving. The heat will wilt them slightly, releasing their flavor.
