Tadka Dal with Radish Greens

Your classic dal elevated with a final flourish of spicy radish microgreens.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup toor dal, cooked

  • 1 tsp ghee

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1 dried red chili

  • A pinch of asafoetida (hing)

  • 1/4 cup radish microgreens

Instructions

  1. Prepare your dal as usual.

  2. For the tadka, heat ghee in a small pan. Add seeds, chili, and hing.

  3. Once they splutter, pour over the cooked dal.

  4. Just before serving, stir in the fresh radish microgreens for a sharp, fresh bite.
