Tadka Dal with Radish Greens
Your classic dal elevated with a final flourish of spicy radish microgreens.
Ingredients
1 cup toor dal, cooked
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 dried red chili
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/4 cup radish microgreens
Instructions
Prepare your dal as usual.
For the tadka, heat ghee in a small pan. Add seeds, chili, and hing.
Once they splutter, pour over the cooked dal.
Just before serving, stir in the fresh radish microgreens for a sharp, fresh bite.
